I had a week off.
Five people from Higashikagawa City spent a total of five days there.
Jun's pop-up also seemed to be a big hit.I went back to check on him from time to time, and I was so happy to see that so many people were cheering him on and saying so many kind words, and that Hibiki was working so hard that it seemed like he was trying even harder.Thank you very much to everyone who came.
Looking back on this trip with just photos and videos would be too graphic, so I'll use some illustrations instead.
The main purpose of the trip is to see the hunting and butchering of wild boars and deer.Thanks to them, we were able to see the entire process over several days.It was my first experience, so even though it was cold, I started to sweat profusely.
I also worked in the mountains, ate and drank local ingredients in nature, and met many people who told me lots of stories.🍶
I had a really great holiday.
Yuki-chan has a happy expression on her face after hearing the story of someone who took on the firewood splitting challenge a few days ago and was hit directly in the jaw by a piece of wood that flew off during the task, breaking four of their front teeth.

Miyamoto Deli will be closed for one week from today.
During the closure period, staff member Hibiki will be running a pop-up shop.
This is our third pop-up.
After the sausage episode, the gyoza episode, and the dojo challenge in Tokyo (by QH+)
This time, they would like to unveil the project while thoroughly reviewing what they learned in 2025.

Since I'll be working alone, there may be times when you have to wait, but I hope you'll enjoy watching Hibiki running around the kitchen with ease 🙏

This season's fever
Grilled persimmon salad
It seems there was a good harvest of persimmons.
There are only a few persimmons left, which have been carefully stored in the store since the end of last year.
With fragrant roasted persimmon
It goes well with homemade dressing.
If you make it with overripe persimmons, it will be even more creamy and flavorful.
This season, we made up for the loss of oysters with persimmons.
Steamed pork, deep-fried taro, rolled manba, etc.
Popular winter menu items are also making a comeback after a long absence.

Happy New Year.
It was a hectic New Year's holiday season, but thanks to the support of many people, including our staff, we were able to make it into the new year safely.
The customers were excited to have fun.
There were a lot of people there, and I feel like we shared a lot of energy with them.
This year, as always, we hope to be able to provide you with food that is made with care, using only the finest ingredients, and with the utmost of our heart.
And as a place where you can relax
I want to continue to exist quietly in a corner of the city.☺️
To celebrate the New Year, the owner (and all the staff) took out a Happy Deli Set from Miyamoto Deli and enjoyed it at home.
We felt that we wanted everyone to eat the same food that we ourselves thought was delicious.
I was very happy when my daughter, who is in the midst of puberty, praised my stir-fried rape blossoms with anchovies and marinated lentils, saying they were delicious.
There were some things we needed to reflect on, but we hope to be able to improve and deliver the same next year.
